Hi, I'm Tara Shepherd Brown! For the past 20 years, I've had the privilege of supporting creative professionals, handling everything from daily administrative tasks to the planning and execution of successful events, allowing them to focus on what they do best.

I now focus on consulting and event planning for conferences, workshops, and retreats for creative individuals and organizations. I've been fortunate to work alongside some amazing people and organizations, including BibleProject, Sarah Bessey (Evolving Faith), Donald Miller, Jim Chaffee (Chaffee Management Group), Suzanne Stabile, Bob Goff, Givingtons, and many others.

I've deepened my understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion through an intensive led by Lisa Sharon Harper (Freedom Road), and expanded my knowledge of the Enneagram through a year-long program under Master Enneagram teacher Suzanne Stabile (Life in the Trinity Ministries).

I am fortunate to live in my favorite city, Portland, Oregon - the land of amazing coffee, beautiful nature, and inspiring art.  For 34 years, my husband, Eric, has filled our lives with adventure. He works with Compassion International. We have three wonderful sons and daughters-in-law, all incredibly creative and artistic. We have these big, perhaps slightly crazy, dreams of opening a farm/retreat/event center to be a sanctuary for creatives and leaders to rest and be cared for. In my free time, I love getting lost in a good book, growing summer flowers, helping friends bring their dreams to life, drinking dark roasted coffee, and exploring various art forms. And yes, I firmly believe guacamole, chips, and a margarita make a perfect dinner!
